Ace/Avant Concrete Construction Co. Inc., is pleased to announce the newest member of our concrete construction family; on October 21st, 2015 Ace/Avant acquired the assets of American Concrete Cutting Corporation from its owner and President, Darold DuMond.
American Concrete Cutting Corporation (ACC) had been in operation since January of 1999 and has serviced North Carolina and its surrounding states. With 18 years of operations and over 500 clients, ACC has been a respected and highly successful company, handling a wide array of projects, both commercial and residential, while always maintaining its job quality and top notch reputation.
When asked about the transition, Darold assured us that “as far as our work ethic, professionalism and quality is concerned, it’s business as usual! We have kept the same phone number, management staff and cutting technicians to keep this transition as seamless as possible. Our main goal is to continue to service all of our existing clients, while expanding our presence with the help of Ace/Avant’s stellar reputation and industry connections. I am honored to have been purchased by such a great company and didn’t want to just sell it to just anybody. After meeting with the guys from Ace and seeing their operations, I knew it was the right decision and that my company was in good hands”.
Specialty division manager Zach Matson is very excited to welcome the ACC team. Together the two companies represent over 43 years of combined service. “This segment of our specialty division has always required a lot of valuable experience and leadership as well as high tech cutting equipment and the right field personnel operating them. We are very fortunate to be in a position to grow this segment of our operation and to also add many of ACC’s customers to our client list.”
Ace/Avant is owned by David Somero and Tracy Matson. They opened their doors in 1990 and have grown Ace into one of the best known and respected concrete companies on the east coast. In 2009, Ace started their specialty division to offer an array of concrete related services, such as: polishing, sealing, joint filling, repair, coating, surface prep and of course concrete cutting and core drilling.
